Dragon Love :)
Here she is at 20 hours. I am really pleased with how she is coming out however i don't believe that I will be reaching my goal of finishing her in 25 hours. There is still some stitching to be done, a ton of back stitching and beading. I figure that there is another 10 or so hours to work on her before I see a finish.
I will be keeping her as my car piece instead of trading her out so I may be luck enough to see a finish on her by the end of next week. I have not decided if I will go ahead and start another Futurecast for myself when I complete her or start Dragon Rampant instead. I still have a bit to make that decision though.
I was able to find my mistake on Twilight which ended up with a lot of frogging. I has somehow skipped a 4 row section. After all of that frogging I had to put it away for a little bit I will however get back to stitching on it when it next comes up in my rotation though. I really can't wait to see the end of that project ! I should be able to finish off page 3 on the next round then comes almost a full page of 939 !! Yuck !! I really hope that baby girl likes it when it is done.

Sarah Hook Update

Sarah Hook
I just realized that this is the first time I have showed this WIP. I am so near a finish with her, I only have a bit at the top and bottom to go before she is done and on her way to the framer's. I want to get the circle's and the wing finished off on the slot in the rotation, however that wing is a bit of a bear so I may only get the wing done, we'll see.
Rotation
I sat down today and figured out what the next 2 rounds of my rotation will look like. I am going to push to make some real progress on Twilight, I really want to see a finish on it this year so it will be my focus. I hope that I can find the willpower to stay with this rotation without any new starts.

Harvest Moon
Well I was able to finish off Harvest Moon last night while waiting on my son at practice. I think it came out quite nice :) This is the 3rd time I have stitched this pattern and I think it comes out more cute each time. This time I changed the stars from brown to gold and I really like it . Time to pick out another small for the car, I am thinking of using my Futurecast as a car small because I really need to get it finished. I found the perfect ( I think) fabric to go with it at Marden's last month. The next time I show Futurecast I will show the fabric that I picked up.

IHSW Update
I managed to finish this little one by Lizzie Kate this weekend and I even got as far as picking out the backing fabric and ribbon. It has been such a busy weekend with football and playing taxi to the family.
This is my other car piece called Harvest Moon, above is what it will look like finished and below is what I managed to stitch on it this weekend. I wasn't able to touch Pegasus at Stonehenge at all this weekend , maybe this week will be a bit slower and I will be able to put my 1200 into it.

IHSW
I have decided on what i will be stitching on for the IHS weekend, I will be doing up this little Lizzie Kate and of course working on my Pegasus. The Pegasus is coming along, by the end of the weekend I should be about 1200 stitches into the first page, maybe a bit more. I will be back Sunday with pictures :)

A Bit Bogged Down
I am feeling a bit bogged down on my Twilight piece so I figured a new start was in order before I killed my stitching bug. I have made a mistake somewhere in Edward's head but I am to frustrated with it at the moment to figure out where I went wrong so I am going to set it aside until next week and then come back to it to figure it out.
In the mean time I will be working on the one above. It is called Pegasus at Stonehenge and is from Shinysun's Cross Stitch. I will be stitching it on 18ct white Aida. I figure whereas it only uses a handful of colors it will be a great take along project for sitting through my dear son's football practices.

Not As Much
as I had planned to get done on this. I had hoped to be finished with this page by now however this week has been super crazy with us not getting in until late each night. I am still plugging away on it though. My son was invited to join the school football team as a Line - Back and he jumped at the chance so this week has been filled with practices and this weekend with games. I know nothing about football so I guess it is time that I learned LOL !

Change of plans
I have decided to give Twilight a push and finish page 3 before I move on with my rotation. I have about 1500 more stitches to go before this page is finished so I might as well get it out of the way while I am feeling motivated to work on it. I should be back in a few days with a updated picture ! wish me luck :)

More Edward and Bella
Sunday, September 4, 2011
This is the little ornament that I took a break from twilight to stitch. The pattern is from a leaflet called Colors of Autumn by Kris's Stitches. This leaflet has a lot of cute design's in it that I want to stitch. This little ornament took about 4 or 5 hours to stitch up, now I just need to figure out how I am going to finish it.
