Here is my update on Lissandrea - this is week 1 of the SAL from the 123 Message board. I am so happy I got page 1 finished off and now i am starting to block in page 2. I worked on her a little bit Friday , all day Saturday and a tiny bit this morning. I have to say that so far this SAL is helping to keep me motivated on her, I like devoting Saturday's to her. I may go ahead and up it to all day Saturday and Sunday.

I have pulled out the block for the CQ RR - this is Susan's block . I really need to get my butt in gear as Friday it needs to be in the mail for it's trip over the pond to Janet. I really don't know what I am going to do yet - I am off to go check out the blog Pin Tangle for some idea's :) If you click the blog name it will bring you there

CQ Update

Well I have to say that this was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I was so emotional stitching Nana's name and birth and death dates. I still can't believe that she is gone , things just don't seem right anymore :( I may end up stitching a few buggies on this block before I send it off, I haven't decided yet.

Crazy Quilt RR - My Block

This little pretty is the block that I made for the CQ RR that I am in. Well it's really 4 wee little blocks that measure 4x5 each sewn into a kind of mini CQ . This little one hold lots of memories for me already. I started this 2 days before Nana went into the Hospital and did the work that you see on it while sitting with her. I still need to stitch her name and some dates on it. I want this to have a garden theme to it as Nana loved gardens! When it comes back home I will finish it with a black satin backing and binding then it will hang on my wall next to some photo's of Nana. Below you can see some detail photo's of my stitching.
