Good Morning

Wow blogger really has some neat features to play around with :) My mind is finially made up as to what the first tutorial will be. Now if my computer will play nice and let me install the camera software then we will be good to go. I fussed with the darn thing for a good bit of the day yesterday and still can't figure it out so I talked a techie friend of mine into installing it for me today :) I have the directions all nicely written out and pictures have been taken so it should be up and ready for you by tonight or tommorow at worst . I think you will enjoy this one , I'll give you a little hint : triangles .
Off to go finish some hand quilting - have a wonderful morning !!

Crazy Computer

So my darn computer has driven me nuts since my last post. Somehow I managed to delete my network connections . However after a week or so of grief I'm back on-line. Now I have to go back and reinstall all of my progrms because in trying to fix the problem I did a factory reset and lost everything that I had :(

I am in the process of trying to figure out what I want to do for my first tutorial. I have so many great idea's that I want to share that I think I am deadlocking myself LOL :) I think I'm just going to put some pattern ideas into a hat and what I pull out will be the first one that I do.

Keep checking in and in the next couple of days - after I get the PC sorted out - I will post a mini quilt for you to make with me :)

Welcome :)

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!

I am pretty new to the blogging world – having just discovered blogs a little over a year ago. I have finally decided that it is high time that I start one myself. Let me tell you a bit about myself, I’m a 30 something mom who has been quilting for the past few years. I am totally addicted to it. I mostly make mini and doll quilts but also do full sized quilts too. I like to use lots of recycled fabric in my quilts and my family calls me the yard sale queen LOL J As soon as I can I will be getting a digital camera to show you some of my past quilts and of course my works in progress.

I live in the wonderful city of Athens and am currently house hunting for a place to call my own. I hope to be able to find something with a bit of acreage so that I can live out my dream of having a small farm. Nothing to fancy mind you but a few chickens, maybe a horse or two, some sheep and a nice garden with fruit trees. I want my family to learn to live a bit more frugally and be a bit more self sufficient.

Right now I am in the process of making a wonderful little Crazy Quilt mini made 100% out of recycled clothes that the Goodwill in Agusta was going to throw away. I hope to get to town at some point this week to pick out a camera.

Hugs,
AMYJO
